Unfolding against the backdrop of ugly southern tradition, the great Migration North and Detroit’s former glory, "Address: House of Corrections" seamlessly weaves between the time periods of 1947 to 1968 and follows the journey of MERRY, an ex-con and recovering addict, from a rarely seen Black woman’s point of view.

The podcast, which reimagines the traditional audio book genre, stars the impressive cast of Joy DeMichelle (For The People), Tangie Ambrose (Station 19), Cheryl Francis Harrington (Dolemite Is My Name), Toby Smith (American Gun), Scott Peat (Criminal Minds), Carl Gilliard (Giants), Taji Coleman (I’m Dying Up Here) and the Emmy nominated producer, Quincy Lenear Gossfield (Delivering Milo).

Powerfully engaging!

I was pulled into the story immediately and couldn’t wait to go on each episode’s journey. The characters and the environment are so lively and vivid. A testament to the writer and the actors.
