    137 - Gamification Works!

ADHDers have interest-wired brains. So it stands to reason that if things aren't fun, or interesting, we'd have a hard time getting going on them. And yet, there are many aspects of life that are ultra-boring....and we still want to be able to do those things. Thank god there's such a thing as gamification!

Let's talk about what that can look like

136 - What Happens When We Lose The Juice For Stuff

Does that happen to you? You really get going on a project, a goal, a dream, and suddenly the juice is gone. For me, it's very dramatic and feels like I'm a failure, or that this isn't meant to be anymore, or that I'll have to just wait until the juice comes back.

Today I'm talking about what I do to move forward when the juice is gone.

Non Normie girl ,

Love this podcast!!

I was never formally diagnosed with ADHD, but I know I am. I love the insight, helpful tips, humor and honesty. I highly recommend this podcast for anyone. If you’re a “normie” it will help you understand folks that are neurodivergent. If you’re neurodivergent it will hopefully help you gain understanding of why you think the way you do or do things or avoid doing things (not laziness). As far as the depression component, that’s something I have battled with and it is in the family. I love Russ’ candidness and how he takes ownership of his “stuff”. Thank you for this podcast.
