Laura and her husband are the adoptive parents of three children. Several of Laura's children are diagnosed with disabilities including Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, Autism, and Intellectual Disability. 

Laura founded her business, Mama Systems, that supports moms by designing customized systems that bring peace and order to the home.
