This week's guest, Chef Kibby, helps us kill two birds with one stone. He is a professional chef and culinary instructor with over 25 years in the food industry.  Additionally, he is a biological, foster, and adoptive dad who seeks to show other parents how to use the shared act of cooking and eating with their kiddos as a way to build deeper relationships, stronger attachments, and more resilient young people.

Kentucky Friend ,

Very Helpful and HOPE-filled! Thank you!

I found this podcast by searching Dr. Karyn Purvis’s name. Her TBRI videos have helped my husband and me with parenting challenges. We adopted our son 3 1/2 years ago and we are navigating some challenging behaviors and feeling exhausted lately. Thankful to have found someone who relates and who has helpful information for where we are! I just purchased the audio book, “The Connected Parent”. Thank you for sharing your story! It’s truly a blessing to have found this!

A balance of truth and HOPE!

I’m currently in the adoption process and have really appreciated this podcast! The conversations are always balanced with truth, hard facts, and HOPE. I’m never left feeling discouraged, but rather encouraged. The hosts have gone through some really challenging times and their honesty and transparency is so helpful. Thank you!!!

Best fostering/adoptive podcast

I’m an mom-bio, adoptive & foster. I’m constantly seeking out help for my adopted kids. Melissa and Lisa have amazing tips and information and the best part-support. I finish each episode feeling understood, not like a failure (validated that this is hard work), and with some new tools to use/consider for my family. Thank you ladies!!
