Characteristics of a missional person: Taming your tongue.

Characteristics of a missional person: Taming your tongue.

that "no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison." However, as followers of Christ, we are called to a higher standard.
    📖 Scriptural Wisdom:
Let's draw inspiration from Proverbs 15:4 - "A gentle tongue is a tree of life." In our words, let us plant seeds of love, encouragement, and grace. Remembering the teachings of Jesus, let our speech reflect His compassion and kindness.
    💬 Speak Life:
In our interactions this week, let's be intentional about taming our tongues. Instead of words that hurt, let us speak life into the lives of others. Build up, encourage, and share the love of Christ through every conversation.
    🙏 Prayer Focus:
Take a moment to pray for God's guidance in our speech. Ask Him for the strength to use our words to glorify Him and to be a blessing to those around us. Let the Holy Spirit guide our tongues, shaping them into instruments of His peace.
    🤝 Community Challenge:
Challenge yourself and others to a week of intentional, Christ-centered speech. Share your experiences using #TamingTheTongueMICC and let's encourage one another in this transformative journey.
Remember, as we tame our tongues, we align our words with the teachings of Jesus, creating a ripple effect of love and positivity in our church and community.
