SUBSCRIBER EXCLUSIVE: When Montana high school student Kimberley Nees is murdered in 1979, investigators zero in on 20-year-old Barry Beach. When they bring him in, he confesses to the crime. At trial in 1984, Beach is convicted and sentenced to 100 years in prison. But then a Montana non-profit organization focused on wrongful convictions takes up his cause, arguing that his confession was coerced and that the evidence pointed to other suspects. In 2015, the governor of Montana granted him clemency and he walked out of prison after serving a total of 31 years. Keith Morrison sits down with Beach to talk about his life as a free man.
