Afternoons With Mike PODCAST The Shepherd

This is a banner year for faith-based films, and the upcoming "His Only Son" promises to deliver a realistic look into the life of Abraham. David Helling, the writer and director for this film, began casting in 2018, alongside another amazing project's producer - Dallas Jenkins (The Chosen). On March 31, David's film premiers around the world, and he gives the glory to God. Chris Marsden leads "Global City Mission Initiative," training and sending domestic missionaries to large cities through the country, and this organization is making a difference.

Jim and Martha Brangenberg are one of those couples whose infectious love, faith and joy for God is undeniable. Early on, Jim was sure that he would be a pastor, and Martha a missionary, both working in some church or ministry outpost. Then, through the providence of God, they began to look more closely into what God was calling them to do...and things got exciting. This inspiring couple will lead a virtual event next week for the Central Florida Christian Chamber.

Today's guest is often referred to as a "serial entrepreneur." He is by training an engineer, and his has learned to apply that ability for critical thinking and observation to several different business that he has founded, including Alpha Kingdom Capital. This organization and the philosophy behind it are discussed, as well as news of Rich's upcoming speaking engagement in April at the Central Florida Christian Chamber luncheon on April 13. His vast network of connections opened the way for "Afternoons With Mike" to more quickly integrate into Central Florida. In this episode, Mark shares from his heart, and what he and his wife are facing. They also discuss how we as believers should respond to our news and political issues facing us all.

Maureen Jasse fought with alcoholism for most of her life, but her life was set free through the power of the Gospel of Jesus. She has been free and sober for years now, and is giving her life to helping others to understand the truth of the Bible through her ministry. "Love and Unity Ministries" is her teaching platform, helping others in their understanding scripture. Also, a first-time visit with Paul Boardman, chairman of the "DeCouple China" PAC.
