Annie Needs to Go Solo
3 thg 7
I updated my review to reflect the fact that I was really enjoying this podcast until Bryson got comfortable enough to be his true self. Bryson said he specifically wanted to date someone much younger because he’s not ready to have kids but it seems what he really wanted is someone young enough to charm with his self-help lingo who he could then bully. He treats her like he’s her abusive father who felt tricked into becoming a parent. He seems to enjoy talking over Annie, telling her she’s wrong about her own opinions, feelings, contributions, business, wants, etc., not just for his own enjoyment but to encourage listeners to say terrible things to her. He’s truly abusive towards her and it’s horrifying listen to or watch. Like any good narcissist, he’s adopted language to make himself appear enlightened but the way he behaves is 100% opposite. I hope Annie goes solo in many respects. To quote Oda Mae: “You’re in danger girl”

I used to listen to JS but redirected my energy towards JLL and found Annie and had no idea she had a podcast which I am loving! These two are so funny together and relaxed. I’m a Boomer and I get the humor. Keep it up and stay as is. Don’t listen to negative people. You have me in stitches cracking up!
