The teacher we all need

Aidan’s work is exemplary in his field and this podcast remains faithful to his quality and creativity. Combined with a perfect presenter’s voice and ideas and attitudes towards the esoteric in a lane all of their own, Aidan rekindles the deep childlike fascination for the true, ancient magic that we are all born knowing, and sets us back on the path of unpretentious discovery of the stuff that has shaped us as a species. It is clear that “Dirt sorcery” is less about soil and mulch, and more about the fundamentals of humanness entwined with the often-not-explained. Yet again a treasure for occultists.

Highly recommended

I first heard Aidan Wachter on the Glitch Bottle pod and even with nearly three decades as a practitioner find his perspective beneficial to my path.
He has real heft behind his advice, drawing from experience gleaned from various magical traditions and extensive study.
There are a lot of purists in the magical community who want to tell others how to practice. But what I like about Aidan’s approach is that he meets you where you are, and more importantly - as WHO you are. So whether you’re a sorcerer or a witch like me, whether you work with deities or don’t, you’ll find something that resonates.
It’s a bonus that his style is very conversational. It’s so refreshing to hear someone talk about what works - and what hasn’t worked - for them in magic. There are no real “experts” in magic. Each path is unique and this kind of contribution helps light the way.
Thanks, Aidan!
