The Anajak Episode
Justin Pichetrungsi has brought his parents Sherman Oaks thai restaurant to new heights in the past two years as the pandemic forced his creativity out of the box and out of the Ventura Blvd laab tot and curry house that has been feeding the neighborhood its soul since 1981. Nowadays it's all thai tacos, dry-aged fish, weekend caviar topped omakases, fried chicken, natural wine, a growing following, some a*****e customers, 90's R&B, and lots of love.

…and, THE best intro music in the pod game. plus, i’ve learned so much of the goy (so?) culture from professor okun
Great pod for the LA food scene. Any foodie should subscribe to this. Despite Jordan’s sometimes quirky tastes (eg dislike for mushrooms), this pod is highly educational and I feel has improved over the years. Please don’t spend more episodes on places like Dan Tanas. Introduce us to more great places like Mariscos Jalisco and Matu. Keep up the good work, Jordan and Max!
