He is a well-known trial attorney in the North Georgia area, and was a former sex-crimes prosecutor. Through training and trying cases, he has developed a niche in cases involving cell phones, forensic computer searches, and social media evidence. AJ has received acquittals and dismissals for numerous clients charged with crimes by using his expertise and knowledge in these fields. He has appeared on CNN, WSB-TV, Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Daily Report, and various news sources such as the Huffington Post and Daily Mail in Europe.
AJ was the President of the Forsyth County Criminal Defense Association, and the current Legislative Chairman of the Legislative Committee for the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He is also an active campaign manager and chair with judicial, Gubernatorial, and other political elections.

Title IX Changes Are Coming!
I represent high school and college students accused of Title IX violations. Title IX is a federal law that protects students from being discriminated against based on sex Schools and students are using it at record speed to combat sexual assault, sexual misconduct, and sexual violence on campus You may hear these terms referred to as dating violence, domestic violence, and sexual or physical abuse on campus The actual law states, "No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance." So, if educational institutions receive federal funding to operate (most of them do, particularly public universities), they must protect students from sexual harassment or assault.
