Akimbo is an ancient word, from the bend in the river or the bend in an archer's bow. It's become a symbol for strength, a posture of possibility, the idea that when we stand tall, arms bent, looking right at it, we can make a difference.
Akimbo's a podcast about our culture and about how we can change it. About seeing what's happening and choosing to do something.
The culture is real, but it can be changed. You can bend it.

Grateful

Seth is dedicated to publishing every week, and each episode is a must-listen. Such great insights. Thank you for your generous contributions Seth!

Can't stand Malcolm

The actual content is usually good. But Seth is insufferable. His tone is voice and his constant pauses when he is speaking makes the podcast difficult to listen to, let alone enjoy. Perhaps they should consider a different host.

Boo to your anti-logical mask shaming!

In your March 3rd episode, you insinuate that any anti-mask sentiment is media-fueled, and anti-science. If you opened your mind, you would quickly see that the same argument could be made in the opposite direction (i.e. irrational pro-mask sentiment is largely media fueled). There is zero scientific evidence that suggests wearing glorified t-shirts over our faces does anything to materially reduce the spread of a virus ... certainly not enough to outweigh the costs of doing so (which any semi-sentient person should be able to conceive). Sure, if we had the capacity to equip every human with recurring-supply of clean, properly sized n95 masks the narrative might be different, but that isn’t (nor will it ever be) the case. Seth you are way to intelligent to peddle in such flaccid logical arguments. Do better.
