As we approach Christmas, the nativity story reminds us of some beautiful but challenging truths. With all the business, like the innkeepers of Bethlehem, do we have room for Jesus? The hope of that first Christmas is so great, the question is still relevant today; do we have room for Jesus in our lives and in our hearts this Christmas? The example of the three Wise men reassures us: from over a thousand miles, over months of travelling, inspired by the science of the day but led by a miraculous light, they came and they found Jesus. However far we may feel from God or however filled up with other stuff, we are never so far away or so full up that the love of God can't lead us back to Jesus.
