So informative...Must Listen

I love listening to this podcast because I always, always learn something. I like how Ali and Becki use science to help us understand what our body does with the food we eat and doesn’t just tell us what to eat.

I will continue to listen and learn and you should too!

Compassion

While I appreciate the detail and information about nutrients in this podcast, labeling the vegan movement which consists of millions of compassionate people designing healthy diets to reduce the suffering and violence against non human animals,
as a win for processed food is misleading. Sponsors of this podcast are meat companies, and the processing of meat in itself requires slaughter of the animal, removal from family, refrigeration, draining blood, chopping up body parts, packaging, not to mention the massive amounts of land and wAter. Grass fed meat for everyone in the quAntities used by Americans would require using the land of the earth several times over. Instead of mocking giggles at the likes of medical doctors who have been doing healthy vegan diets for double the lifetime of these podcasters, how about suggesting whole food vegan sources and supplements to help people remain as vegan as possible for the sake of reducing violence against animals and preserving the resources of the earth for the sake of all of our grandchildren.
