Great Analysis

Great analysis of one of the very best sci fi / horror films ever made. The minute by minute analysis really reveals all the intricacies of acting, direction, special effects, music, technology, etc. One thing lost in the minute by minute analysis is the overall pacing of the film. Alien is like a bullet train parked in the station that slowly gets rolling and then in a few minutes is flying down the rails in a relentless, breathtaking race to the finish.
