Keeps Me Going!

It’s hard to stay motivated and passionate when your normal job closes (COVID) and you find yourself selecting groceries for pickup at 2am to make ends meet. 2020 was the year I planned to return to school to pursue a career with wildlife- needless to say those plans are delayed! But every morning when I tap play and slurp down my coffee I am reminded of the many creatures that make my heart swell, and the science and conservation that keeps me working towards my future. Thank you guys for your passion, knowledge and wit, I appreciate you and your content so much!

Love this podcast!

I am a animal care technician at University of Florida and a future zookeeper. I had Chris (Dr. Mortensen to me) as a professor at UF & his enthusiasm for teaching definitely shows in this podcast. Him & Angie are great animal educators. I am always excited to learn new facts from them but also hear them talk about some of my faves! 10/10 would recommend

Love this podcast! I just listened to the bowhead whale episode and urge you to google the physiological marvel of the giant mouth penis (er, corpus cavernous maxillaris) found in these amazing creatures! If you haven’t already seen it, nat geo did an article that will fascinate you and also make you giggle! Anyway, thanks guys for making my work days brighter!
