I am a big fun of you guys!

Hello, I am Misa from Japan. I am a sophomore in college, and pursuing business administration business, marketing concentration degree in North Dakota. Actually I had never heard this state before, so it is really interesting I chose this place out of tons of other choices. Anyway, I started listening to this podcast 3 years ago. I was enjoying it on my way to the station and back home almost everyday. However after I graduated from high school, I stopped listening, and now I am listening again and catching up on a lot of episodes I’ve missed while cleaning my university’s dormitories, which is my summer job. To be honest, the job is so boring and tough, but you guys always keep me going with interesting and meanwhile episodes, so I really appreciate that. I can understand more content than before, so I am happy to see my improvement. I’ve told a lot of my story haha, so I have a question. I sometimes get confused when I hear “sure” as a response. For example, “Do you want to use the towel?” “Sure”. For me, “sure” doesn’t sound a positive and willing answer, rather it sounds like a little bit unwilling response when people think “Since you ask me... I will do it.” So as I mentioned before, if they want to use the towel they should say “Yes” rather than “Sure”. Do I understand the nuanceI of “sure” wrong? Are there multiple ways you can use this word? I will appreciate if you make an episode about this question. Thank you, you guys are awesome!:) By the way I really like how you guys love Japan and bring it to the conversation often. I hope I can meet you guys in person someday.
