Optimism - The Ingredient to Success | All In Leadership

Optimists start....period. Why? Because they lead with the ability to see obstacles, roadblocks & challenges as opportunities versus issues.Optimistic leaders are open-minded and focused on opportunities, they are willing to take risks, embrace new ideas, and roll with the punches. As long as you can weigh optimism with a strong organizational strategy, versus over the top optimism while wearing rose colored grasses, then you've landed on a successful ingredient to grow and scale an organization._ _ _ _ _Have you joined our email list yet? The Generosity Gene | All In Leadership

The Generosity Gene | All In Leadership

"Every great leader has a generosity gene." Jack WelchGenerosity is a powerful tool to tap into as a leader. From a leadership perspective, generosity is such an underrated characteristic and with authenticity and a genuine approach we can build high performing teams though generous actions and interactions. As a generous leader, it requires us to lead with an abundance mindset, that we are all in this together - with optimism, leading with courage and resiliency and the ability to focus on the collective interest of the team.Generosity is far more than grabbing a cup of coffee for your team on the way into the office. There is a lot that goes into it and it is a practice that requires us to serve from the heart._ _ _ _ _Have you joined our email list yet? Moving On with Servant Leadership | All In Leadership

Moving On with Servant Leadership | All In Leadership

In this episode, I share with you four important things to think about as organizations are opening back up after quarantine has been lifted and how to move onward and upward with sustainable strategies to engage employees and guests. While the episode focuses primarily on gaming and the hospitality industry, the underlying thread of the message is to focus on servant leadership, which is transferrable in any industry where you interact with employees and guests.Much of the practices and approaches shared in this episode are adapted from the 4 part series of positions papers that The Strategy Organization and Fantini Research have joined forces on to provide quick, easy to read papers, geared towards busy executives. My primary focus and contribution was to the 1st segment - the Employee and Guest Sentiment. The Strategy Organization, a modern gaming and hospitality consulting firm and Fantini Research is the leading daily provider of actionable information to C-level executives and investment professionals._ _ _ _ _ Have you joined our email list yet? The Fine Print to being an Effective Leader | All In Leadership

The Fine Print to being an Effective Leader | All In Leadership

Early is on time, on time is late, and late is just unacceptable.  Either that statement makes you cringe or it is something you live by.Growing up, this was engrained in me. And I've shifted it to not be so cringeworthy to finding the silver lining in how showing up on time has so many factors to leadership.Lateness has become such a problem in many organizations that we've even tried to shift to creative start times, such as 8:47am, thinking that will trigger this new model of thinking and employees will magically show up.But, showing up on time is a behavior and habit that needs to be cultivated over time. And, as you listen to this episode you'll get to hear all of the underlying benefits that come from showing up on time and what some of those career impacts may be if you habitually arrive late. There are so many benefits and it requires us to re-wire our brains to see the upside and the positive aspects, because this truly is the fine print of effective leadership - while it may seem small, the return on your investment is significant._ _ _ _ _ _Have you joined our email list yet? Strengthen Relationships & Lead with Trust | All In Leadership

Strengthen Relationships & Lead with Trust | All In Leadership

Leading remote teams is a new adventure for many companies and employees, and it's important to lead in a fashion that cultivates trust and develops the relationships amongst the team - especially when we are at a distance and not connected in person as frequently and often as we used to be.And, even if you don’t lead people or have direct reports – these techniques can apply to how you can connect, communicate and collaborate with your colleagues. Many questions come up when leading remote teams – and without Clarity, Communication & Connection – it can lead to trust issues, micromanaging or fear of employees not being productive:How are teams going to track projects they're working on?How will they meet to discuss this? Will you all be connecting on Video or email? Will there be standing meetings at a certain time to get everyone coordinated? These questions should be an ongoing conversation. Remember, going fully remote is a new experience for many companies and their workers. This episode dives into 3 key areas to cultivate stronger relationships with your team and set them up for success to achieve the organizations goals and objectives._ _ _ _ _Have you joined our email list yet?
