ALL KNOWING & ALL SEEING

The passage for today is in continuation of Jesus sending out the apostles on their missions. Jesus chose unworthy people and gave them an awareness that they are priceless in the eyes of God. He says that they will encounter hardships and persecution on His account but assures them to fear not as He will be with them in their journeys. In this context, Fr. Gerard quotes St Francis de Sales saying ‘to fear God out of love and not love Him out of fear.’
