    Tiffani Czapinski: Rescue Baby

Inspiring you to be your baby's hero I met Tiffani Czapinski as a new member at the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce while we both were attending an online Zoom event there. When she introduced herself to the group I immediately knew I wanted to have a conversation with her.
Tiffani’s background is as a firefighter, but because of a back injury, she had to leave that profession. She then inspired herself to create Rescue Baby, her new emerging yet to be branded business.
Listen to this episode to find out how she’s pivoting, and not because of the pandemic.

It's the foundation, the basis of everything we do at Call Me Unstoppable™ - The Trifecta™ of Unstoppable.  And when all three elements - Heartset, Mindset, and Skillset - are aligned, you are truly unstoppable!.”
~ Logan and Anna from Call Me Unstoppable
    Who are these “unstoppable” sisters?
Logan was in private practice for about 10 years, and before that a former corporate gal in human resources who left in 2010 to open Logan Re-coaching. Then in 2018 they opened Call Me Unstoppable.
Because Anna comes from an entrepreneurial background, she’s the peer support specialist. She’s gone through everything a coach can go through. She’s the creative side. The “find the dots” kind of person.
Because Logan has more of a corporate background, she is the “connect the dots” kind of person.

    DIY Publishing Meets DIY Broadcasting

    DIY Publishing Meets DIY Broadcasting

Honoree Corder is a wildly prolific author who has sold over 4 million copies of her books on Amazon. What’s more, she offers an online “Publishing Ph.D.” course to aspiring authors that walks them through the entire process of conceiving, composing, marketing, and selling their books.
One of the things she tells her clients is that producing a podcast is an effective way to enhance their reach and boost sales of their books. This is where our amiable host, John Biethan, comes in. He’s just as much a proselyte for podcasting as Honoree is for self-publishing. Or, as Honoree puts it, “You’re the me of podcasting.” Got it? Good.
In the ensuing conversation, Honoree explains why self-publishing makes a lot of sense in today’s marketplace, where traditional publishers are stingy with resources and expenditures for all but blockbuster authors.
But there’s money to be made and authority to be gained by going the independent route. The book - and the podcast that grows out of it - can elevate an author’s profile and create beaucoup opportunities in their fields of expertise.
“Putting an investment in their book is an asset in their business,” she says.
Marketing considerations aside, Honoree says that many of her clients simply have the time now to write the book they’ve always wanted to write, now that we’re all a bunch of socially-distanced homebodies. “There's less to go and do, so there's more time to sit and write,” she says. “They’re kind of like, I'm ready to write that book and I want to publish it.  And now I understand I have a line of sight.”

Tanya Goodall Smith: Improve Your Brand Image

Tanya Goodall Smith: Improve Your Brand Image

Originally a graphic designer, Tanya Goodall Smith noticed that many small businesses in her area (Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho) were shooting themselves in the foot by using amateur photography in their advertising and marketing materials.
“When 90 percent of the real estate on your ad is a photo and it's terrible, “ she says, “it can be difficult to make it look good.”
In that case, your brand doesn’t look good. “Branding is your reputation,” she says. “It's what other people think of you or your business or your product.”
So Tanya decided to put her visual communications skills to work creating professional photos and videos for a clientele that includes companies, real estate brokers, medical practitioners, and anyone who “really cares about their business and their clients and really just wants to take their brand up to that next level, beyond the DIY.”
Her photos appear on everything from billboards to print ads to websites. She also offers video services, to provide the added impact of spoken words, music, and motion, and social media marketing services that make use of her photos.
Having discovered a niche, Tanya is also teaching other photographers the ropes of corporate and personal brand photography, and solo entrepreneurship: “I created the course that I wish I would have had.”
