How A Frame Defines A Picture

These are brief comments made during an art opening on March 2nd, 2017 at the St. Ann's School in Brooklyn. They touch on the nature of art and why we hate it, future anthropology, how the perfect must be the enemy of the good, fieldstripping your AK-47 in the girl scouts, the limits of our imagination, the seduction of narrative, and how we put garbage on stage each and every day.

Ten out of five stars

I can't get enough of these. Mike Daisey is the most extraordinary monologist, not just because he is the original monologist, but because when he speaks, by listening you are swept along a sensory experience - he goes high and low, he is relentless and empathetic and fearless and true.

Amazing Performer

Mike Daisey is the best story teller I have ever seen. This podcast is a great way to experience his performances if you couldn't make it to the theatre.
