    Tragedy in Detroit

    Tragedy in Detroit

It was hard to choose a title for this episode. Alicia Fox was callously murdered. Her children, Kaylah and Kristian have disappeared. The disappearance of Henry Fields is another weight on a grieving family. Please look at the photos, see if the children look familiar. Our hope is that they are out there, safe and loved.

Missing in Ohio - Ronald Tammen

Missing in Ohio - Ronald Tammen

This is an unusual episode. We cover the 1953 disappearance of Ronald Tammen. We also have an interview with my friend, David Findlay, who has a unique perspective on how a missing person case can impact the community.

Listen Now: Happily Never After: Dan & Nancy

Listen Now: Happily Never After: Dan & Nancy

Nancy Brophy fills her novels with romantic betrayals and murder. It’s a far cry from her quiet life in the suburbs, where she and her chef husband, Dan, are living out their golden years. But when Dan is shot dead, Nancy finds herself at the center of a murder case that could be ripped from the pages of her novels.
From Wondery, this is a story about what happens when the line blurs between fiction and reality.

    Breasia Terrell

    Breasia Terrell

Breasia vanished on July 10, 2020. I remember her case well because we had her posted in the Missing in Michigan group. Even though we are a Michigan focused group, we shared her post on the chance that it might help bring her home.

Sadly, the ending is not the one we hoped for.

Love the show! Nina is amazing

Great content from the Midwest, Nina is absolutely fantastic with her delivery and passion when narrating. I wish the podcast would release more episodes more often. Other than that great podcast.

Banker’s Hours

In the last month, there have been five drops: four advertisements for other podcasts and one actual episode for this podcast. Well, Nina, I’m going to take your advice and listen to other podcasts. Peace. “We’re open most days about 9 or 10, occasionally as early as 7, but some days as late as 12 or 1. We’re closed about 5:30 or 6, occasionally about 4 or 5, but sometimes as late as 11 or 12. Some days or afternoons we aren’t here at all but lately we’ve been here just about all the time, except when we’re someplace else. But we should be here then, too.”
