October Hits and Misses
This month ended on such a sad note. The passing of Matthew Perry has hit us hard, both being Friends lovers and the joy that Chandler Bing brought was unlike any other character on TV, the show would not be what it was without him. We hope that he has finally found the peace he deserves.
We (finally) got 1989 (Taylors Version) and it doesn't disappoint, we talk a little about our favorite songs on the album but we honestly don't go into too much about it, but know that we are loving it.
We Watched:
Beckham (Netflix)
Kill Bill
American Gagster (Max)
Haunted Mansion (Disney Plus)
Scream (Max)
Renfield (Prime)
Tim Burtons The Nightmare Before Christmas (Disney Plus)
We Read:
Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt
The Five Star Weekend by Elin Hilderbrand
Pretty Girls by Karin Slaughter
The Pumpkin Spice by Laurie Gilmore
Whiskey Smoke by Abbi Glines
Heart Bones by Colleen Hoover
We are taking a short break but will still be uploading our Hunger Games series that we did previously as Two Leading Ladies, so there will still be episodes coming out.
If there is something we should be watching/reading/listening to, please send it our way.

12. Halloween
This week we talk about the classic Halloween film. It's not something we would normally watch, but it's such a good movie we had to throw it in. This movie does bring up questions that we have, why did Michael choose Laurie? did Laurie's friend mean to say the name of the little girl instead of the friend Annie's name? How does Michael survive being shot and falling out of a 2 story window? We need the answers!!
October Hits and Misses will be live on October 31st.
Our November book club pick is You, Again by Kate Goldbeck
We are re-releasing our Hunger Games series from when we were Two Leading Ladies to get ready for the prequel movie that is coming out in November, so get ready for a nice little throwback from us!

11. Hocus Pocus
SISTAAAAAAS, lets form a calming circle and head to Salem! This week we talk about the classic Hocus Pocus. This movie hits even as adults (Ashley can't watch it enough). Bette Midler (Winifred) is amazing and this movie wouldn't be what it is without her. Let us know if this is one of your favorite movies too!
We also talk about the romance between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce - we are INVESTED.
We also talk about the NFL outfits of course.
Hits & Misses might be pushed back this month but we will keep you updated on our instagram.

Read the Room: Pretty Girls by Karin Slaughter
This month we chose Karin Slaughters book Pretty Girls. We question how an author goes to that place to write the contents in this book. This book is dark and heavy, we definitely recommend that you read at your own risk.
Our November pick is You, Again by Kate Goldbeck
