Makes going to the gym bearable even if you get weird looks laughing alone on the treadmill

I was an AVID American Girl reader as a child and this is exactly the podcast I needed in life. I love the seriousness in which this topic is discussed and keep recommending it to friends. The pop culture connection is always well thought out and hilarious. I only let myself listen when I’m at the gym and have gone 11 days IN A ROW as a result.

I can’t stop listening/thinking about/loving this show.

Okay, I connect to this podcast in so many ways and have never felt more like I want to be friends with people I have never met before. These two women are incredible in so many ways: their friendship is palpable, their historical and literary takes are hot *and* informed (not that I have the authority to decide that, but I will), their rigor in dissecting these children’s books is evident and commendable, and their connections to pop culture are surprising, delightful, and absolutely hilarious. I cannot get enough. I would listen to these two talk about basically anything.
