Ami Simunovich Woman to Woman

Ami Simunovich serves as executive vice president, chief quality and regulatory officer, and public affairs for BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company), a leading global medical technology company headquartered in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey. In this role, she oversees the Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Public Affairs functions for BD, which support advancing the world of health through delivering products and services that are safe, compliant, reliable, and effective. She is a member of the BD Executive Leadership Team.
Before her current role, Simunovich served as BD’s chief regulatory counsel, advising executive management on complex global regulatory law matters. Simunovich has over a decade of experience serving in senior leadership roles, including associate general counsel of regulatory and corporate compliance at C. R. Bard, Inc., associate general counsel of regulatory at Catalent, Inc., and external legal counsel in litigation, regulatory law and intellectual property.
Simunovich is the Executive Sponsor of the African-Americans at BD (AABD) Associate Resource Group. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Medical Device Innovation Consortium (MDIC), a public-private partnership committed to faster, safer, and more cost-effective innovation for patient benefit. She serves on the Board of Trustees for Fairleigh Dickinson University to support BD’s historical connection to the university.
