I See Dead People - Part 4 - Q&A and STORYTIME
In this conclusion to my 'I See Dead People' series, I answer questions that have been submitted to me from listeners. Additionally, I tell a STORYTIME story about the most difficult, gross, and heart-breaking thing I ever had to do in the funeral business. I give a warning prior to starting this story, as it is not for the faint-of-heart.
For Your Entertainment
This will be a shorter episode and it is for your entertainment. I hope. This is going to be a few pieces of music that I have been working on writing the arrangements and I have recorded these songs from various groups. The first is a rendition of Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen, and this is my own arrangement performed by a choir. The second is an arrangement for the harp, played by me, and it is When You Wish Upon A Star from Disney. The third is a rendition of Scat Singing, a jazz method and this is a well-known tv theme song that I’m sure you will recognize. This is done by a small group. The 4th is a new arrangement I am working on of When I Was Seventeen, played by me on my baby grand piano. And the last piece is a version of Empty Chairs at Empty Tables, from Les Mis, performed by me again, on my baby grand. Please listen to the end of this show, as it is quite important. So please, relax, have a glass wine or other beverage of your choice, and I hope you enjoy it.
Gay Health 7 - Body Image
A discussion about the history of Body Image. From the 1970's through today, Body Image has been something that male and female, gay and straight have often dealt with through bombardment from TV, Films, Magazines, Porn and other media. I also address my own personal struggles with this.
GYM STORIES 1 - Was I Being Hit on in the Sauna by an Adonis ??
Today I had the most interesting experience in the gym's sauna. I ask you to give me your opinion if I was in fact being hit on by this ADONIS. It's quite an erotic story, and if you like my gay erotic stories, you will love this. Please send me your opinion answer to the question I ask towards the end of the episode. STORYTIME - Midnight Skinny-Dipping
This episode is def rated R. I tell a story about my time on Cape Cod as a Funeral Director and Embalmer when I was hanging out with the young 'townies'. We had a special pond.
This is a re-edited episode of my most popular show with new content added. I hope you enjoy this conversation about Gym Showers and how they have changed over the years, as guys grew more modest. Don't miss the STORYTIME in the middle of this episode. It is one of my favorite stories and telling it brought back so many wonderful memories. Be sure to hear it ! The show concludes with my updated thoughts about locker rooms and showers.
Joey I do truly enjoy your stories and personal insights. We all approach each day with expectations and fears sometimes realized and at times receive blessings. Each of us have overcome sickness, tragedy and brokenness. I choose to believe in hope for greater times and your ability to share personal experiences as well as those of others gives rise to better understanding and builds faith. Please continue to gift to me and others these wonderful stories.
I found your podcast this week, and have loved listening! Thanks for your transparency and life advice. Keep up the amazing work!
Love the Show!!
Hey Joey, I like you feel the same way about venturing out. I’ve had my shots but still feel leery about meeting people in a large area. I’m sure I’ll get through it, but with my immune system compromised also, I think I’ll take baby steps. Thank you for the Podcast. I love hearing your stories of the past. I’m 52 and can relate! Love you and keep up the great work!!!
