She encourages us to prepare our hearts to receive the words spoken in General Conference—not just in the moment, but long after the closing prayer.

We talk about the power of returning to conference talks again and again, studying them prayerfully, and allowing the Spirit to reveal what the Lord is speaking to us personally through His chosen servants. As we do this daily, our hearts become more open, our discernment sharpens, and truth becomes easier to recognize.

The prophets’ words can serve as a litmus test for truth in a confusing world—if we are willing to pay attention, hold fast to what is taught, and let the Lord confirm it to us individually.
