Dr. Calhoun is engaging and humorous. This course covers church history from the post-apostolic days to the Reformation. Dr. Calhoun goes out of his way to include discussion of church history in Asia, Africa, and Latin America although the emphasis is Europe where the influence was most dominant.

This is a wonderful resource for anyone interested in church history. The professor is easy to listen to and of course the content is crucial for understanding how we as the church got to where we are now.
