Adopted as a private domestic infant adoption in 1982, I share my story and experiences navigating life as an adoptee in childhood, mental illness, reunification, marriage, and parenting. Complimenting my story will be guests from other sides of the triad, family, and friends. I will also throw in a side dish of humor, splashed with awkwardness, and a dash of weirdness. I hope to educate and entertain ... well anyone who is willing to listen and learn with me.

LOVE LOVE LOVE

I am so glad that I found this podcast! Andrea is incredibly vulnerable and authentic in sharing her story. She provides an invaluable perspective as both an adoptee and adoptive mom. As someone who is not part of the triad, I’ve already learned so much!

Plus- This woman is hilarious 😂 her humor helps convey her message without being inappropriate/ offensive. As someone who has also walked through trauma, I think it is important to laugh (because let’s face it... sometimes life really isn’t funny.)

5/5 stars! You rock. I will continue to tune in.

thankful for a real conversation about adoption ✨

This podcast is a place in which Andrea helps us all dive passed the assumptions of the adoption world and see the millions of internal moments in the heart of an adoptee.

Andrea is extremely vulnerable, funny, and kind to herself in this place. Thus, giving us permission to do the same. I am gleaning a richer understanding of my internal world as an adoptee through this podcast and finding freedom knowing that I am not the only one.

No matter your place in adoption triad (birth mom, adoptive parent, or adoptee) there is value here. To listen. To learn. To heal.

Thanks Andrea. 🤜🏾🤛🏻
