Very informative

Thoughtful discussion of important articles. In-depth. Good interviews. Discuss methods, basic science, findings. Interviews often also include editorialist which help gives the articles context. Drs. Sweitzwer, Karasch, Rathmell well prepared hosts.

Ridiculous

Most recent episode gives high praise to a French study forced to terminate due to high rates of bradycardia and asystole after running Precedex at up to 1.4 mcg/kg/hr. They then discuss why opioid free anesthesia is fraught with adverse events. Please. Whatever did you think would happen after running Precedex at those rates I should make a study with patients on a fentanyl infusion so I can show the pitfalls of balanced anesthesia.
