This course begins with the evolution of behavior, the driver of nervous system evolution, reviewed using concepts developed in ethology, sociobiology, other comparative studies, and in studies of brain evolution. The roles of various types of plasticity are considered, as well as foraging and feeding, defensive and aggressive behavior, courtship and reproduction, migration and navigation, social activities and communication, with contributions of inherited patterns and cognitive abilities. Horrible Sound

You can barely hear the professor. The sound quality is horrible. I couldn't keep on listening to it because it gave me a headache. The material seems interesting though, so I give it an okay, but for godsakes, this is MIT! You expect a lot more for such a school, and they should at least get better quality sound.

Very Interesting Subject

The content of this lecture is extremely interesting and informative. The only complaint I have would be that the professor is hard to hear in the first lesson. This problem appears to have been fixed in later parts though.
