Why this is good and necessary

Christians already know that our faith is true and we don't need a reasonable argument to convince us of this. The inner testimony of the Holy Spirit provides us with all the proof necessary.
Christians do however need to know how to express to others the reason for the hope that is within them. When asked for a reason for their belief, I'm embarrassed by the many who respond such as, "I just do" or "because my Bible told me so" or "because I was raised to believe".
Apologetics highlights 1 Peter 3:15 which exhorts us to "always be ready to provide a reason for the hope that is within you".
So, while Christians may not need further reasons that build up their faith, we need to know how to give a 'reasoned response' to anyone who asks.

The Atheist community tanks ratings so if something has a bad rating check it out, theres a reason atheists don't want you to hear an argument. Rom 1
