Helpful encouragement and useful advice
Just listened to another great episode, How to Learn a New Language Fast.
Dr. Metivier gives advice that no one else bothers to tell you - and this includes your language teacher. Simply keeping a notebook of your own words and phrases that are important to you makes you more interesting to your listener
and keeps up your own momentum in language acquisition much better than the endless rote drilling of verb conjugations (which are also important and necessary, but rarely exciting). Learning a new language does require a lot of memorization and practicing out loud (by yourself), so any time you can add
elements that personalize it will make it more enjoyable.
This is one of my favorite podcasts. Dr. Metivier is creatie and thoughtful, and he generously shares his great ideas with the rest of us. Thank you.
WHAT. A. WASTE.
Donald Trump WISHES he could be as full of hot air and blather on like this guy. I'd feel sorry for him if I weren't so embarrassed for him.
I can't imagine the fan mail that he reads at the start of many episodes is written by actual people. After he's finished congratulated himself at the audience to his liking, the second half of the episode is spent heading him talk about how the topic of that specific show is Hong to be something he's going to talk about, and why. And how why is key in knowing what the topic's how come into why he's going to explain when to use the topic in today's topic.
He should have an incel podcast.
The World’s Most Prolific Memory Expert
Dr. Metivier is, in my opinion, the most prolific teacher in the memory field. I’ve paid thousands of dollars for over-hyped promises that seldom deliver. Their training is usually regurgitated, antiquated training stuffed into a shiny new box.
Dr. Metivier’s training and private student group is worth 100 times what he charges. As a disabled veteran returning to college after 20 years, I was overwhelmed with the amount of information and how it was delivered. After a few months of taking Dr. Metivier’s training, I went from being overwhelmed to being one of the top students in all of my courses. I can’t thank him enough, he’s the real deal!
