This has become my go-to podcast for fresh and creative ELA ideas. There are lots of podcasts and blogs that encourage production-like lessons with props, bells, and whistles that require massive amounts of energy to implement. Those can be fun, but I appreciate how this podcast honors educator’s time and energy, advocating for smart instructional decisions that lead to engaging win-win scenarios for both teacher and students. Danielle’s blog is great for learning more when a particular podcast catches my interest. I recently bought her hexagonal thinking activity for creating classroom norms on TPT, and it was a big success with my middle schoolers and would work for high schoolers, too. Highly recommend!
