Learning to lead in the multiethnic church is a calling. The multiethnic leader must be confident and visionary, yet humble and teachable, knowing that he/she cannot have a full knowledge of all the cultures in any given multiethnic congregation. This calling is rooted in the earliest New Testament church, with the church in Antioch being the first multiethnic church - a church which lasted for many centuries whose members came from all parts of the Roman world and eventually whose influence reached across the continents of Africa, Asia and Europe. We in the 21st Century continue the multiethnic ministry of the gospel, seeing the image of God in one another, learning from one another, and learning to belong together as the Beloved Community: the body of Christ.

Life Giving

I am learning so much by listening to voices that are different than mine. Antioch Worship is playing a large part in bringing diverse voices to the table with the intent to unite in Christ.
