Apple Vision Pro - At $3,499, this isn’t for Everyone‪!‬ Jaylen D. Bledsoe

    • Business

👋🏽 Hey, it's Jaylen Bledsoe. This week, Apple is hosting WWDC, their World Wide Developers Conference. At the end of their keynote, Tim Cook kicked the historic “One More Thing” moment, and the rumored “Apple Vision Pro” and “visionOS” was announced.

At a price starting at $3,499, to be released in 2024, this is not priced for everyone. It is similar in strategy to Tesla, opposite of Meta and its VR devices such as its’ Meta Quest 3. Tesla priced its earlier vehicles at a premium to fund the cost of innovation so that one day it could deliver more accessible and economically feasible cars such as the Model 3, Model Y, or the future Model 2 and beyond. I’d have to imagine a lower-priced device releasing at the end of 2024 alongside the 2024 iPhone (iPhone 16?), which I believe would be the computer for that device.
