April Stewart the Money Coach on Credit over Coffee Credit Over Coffee

    • Business

Join Jeanne Kelly Credit Coach and Money Coach April Stewart as they discuss learning about personal finance, lifestyle creep, and creating a spending plan. April talks about getting intentional about what you do with your money, being laser-focused on your income, and using it well. It's when you focus, implement, and take action, and the knowledge is there. Money is neither bad nor good. It's a tool. It's a powerful tool. It's a tool that you can do great things with.

April says her number one tip is focusing on managing what you have. So I think there's so much focus on, I wanna make more, I wanna make more, I wanna make more. Yes, making more is great, but making more is not the answer. You can make more and then spend all of what you're making.
That's not what's really going to help you to build wealth or to increase your net worth. It's not really about what you make but what you do with it. So I say, learn how to manage what you have in your hands. Learn how to make it work for you. Learn how to keep it. And then once you keep it, you know, then, of course, invest it and multiply it.
But that's really the key thing. And I will continue to shout it from the hills because people I talk to so many people and they don't get it like they make great money. More money than I've ever made, and they have nothing to show for it. And so it's just really is not always about what you make; it's really about what you do with it, how you manage it, how you steward it. That's my one tip. Learn how to really manage what you have.
