Excellent

I know a lot about Western European history, but like so many, I don’t know much about the Ottoman Empire. Thank you, Jamie. This podcast is balanced and informative. It fills a huge need.

Uneducated, offensive, borderline antisemitism

I have been listening to Jamie’s podcasts on the USA for a long time now and I decided to now listen to this series. It is downright awful. His coverage of Israel is appalling. He called the Hebron 1929 massacre “communal clashes.” He refuses to condemn Palestinian terrorism and he outright glorifies the PLO and Nasser. He won’t even mention that 6 million Jews were killed in the holocaust. He makes it sound like Israel was the aggressor in the 6 day war while neglecting to mention the Arab world calling for its utter destruction. Pathetic beyond belief. I can tell he was on 20 when he said this.
