Arms of the Tide is an actual play about fighting for what’s right in an original magitechnological world on the brink of catastrophe, using the Mutants in the Night system. Join Quinn, Jo, Chanel, and Jon and revel in the laughs and gasp at the drama while the only thing standing against the apocalypse are a robot with a fondness for stray cats, a wolf made of living plants with a bad case of depression, and a private eye who’s so done with all of this.

A must listen
If you enjoy creative, funny, insightful actual-play podcasts this is the show for you. The three players and the GM take a lot of time setting up a world and plot threads that will take time to pay off but you know will. Don’t mistake a hilarious Matthew McConaughey for this being a surface show, the best part is the thoughtfulness that they use when approaching the heavy themes that the story grapples with. I appreciate a series that uses the actual-play medium to tell a great story while also trying to find a perspective on larger question. Arms of the Tide is doing this in spades. Check it out.
Funny, heartfelt cyberpunk in a unique setting
This show embraces the punk in cyberpunk, telling the story of people who are actively fighting an evil corporation. It offers a nuanced view of people caught between poverty and a system that doesn't care about them, but in a heartfelt, hilarious way.
The cast are talented roleplayers who have obvious chemistry and understand how to tell a story. The setting is wildly creative. And in the end it feels like in this world at least, giving The Man the finger might really accomplish something in the end.
Absolutely check this show out.
Great role playing
The story is well thought out and the GM flows with each of the discussion that the players make very well. The players really Immerse themselves in their character and the world. I’ve never heard of a world like this before but with the great descriptions and they way the players act in it I feel like I’ve been there for years. Keep up the good work!
