Arsenal crash out of the champions league away to Bayern Munich in a disappointing night for the Gunners. After a pretty solid first half where we didn't create a whole lot but defended well, we were well in the game. I thought that we handled the pressure of the crowd and the occasion well in the beginning as well. Arteta put out a sensible lineup and the boys did well in that first half.

Arsenal found out in the second half what champions league experience is all about. Switch off once and Bayern Munich punish you. From there we were a bit listless for a ten minutes or so. Heads went down, Odegaard wasn't running as hard, Munich were able to manage the game. Rice did not have a good game by any stretch giving the ball away far too many times. In the end we just didn't have the quality to break through. Just short. Again. Arteta's legacy.
