Art Grind is a podcast for and about artists, art lovers and art professionals. It is a social practice of giving back to the art community of which we are a part and explores the process, content, concept and motivation behind art making of both established and emerging artists and the people who bring that art to a wider audience. We are artists ourselves and wear many hats, including curation, art writing and art teaching. We share a passion for authentic and skilled art making, be it trained or self-taught. Whether in the studio, on your lunch hour or chilling out after a long day of hustle, have a listen while we explore, along with our guests, the backstories of what we fondly call “the art grind”.

The real deal
This is a no nonsense podcast about art, it’s process and ideas. The conversations with the features artists are insightful and inspirational to other fellow artists. I love listening to this podcast while working in the studio! Keep up the good work Art Grind and looking forward to more episodes.
I would give 5 stars but...
Can’t and I’ll explain why. I love almost everything about this podcast. Both hosts and guests are extremely interesting and passionate about the subjects. That being said, the guy host, Marshall I think?, interrupts the guests way too many times to tell his own story/tangent, that I can tell is inspired by the conversation, but essentially feels like a tangent and just distracts from the guests story!! I’m sorry but I want to hear the guest! Perhaps if you wrote down your thoughts and what the conversation made you think about to then discuss with the other host at the end of the show and expand on your own ideas and associations after the guest has left, I would LOVE to hear what the guest inspired for you. With all that being said, and if you’re a new listener and still reading this, it’s a great podcast with passionate hosts with thoughtful, inspiring guests with stories worth hearing.
Excellent
The Pearlstein conversation is particularly good. Very enjoyable podcast. Thanks!
