Artist Spotlight with Amy Joy Robateau & Tim W. Brown

Since 2017, Amy Joy Robateau and Tim W. Brown have co-hosted the biweekly Art in the Basin open mic series in the NW Bronx. Amy Joy Is an artist, published poet, writer, and the creator, producer and director of several YouTube channels including: A. Joy Cloud, Where is Blaze?, Imagination Welcomed and Art In The Basin. She is also the founder and director of the Art In The Basin’s Virtual Open Mic (VOM) Series. Tim W. Brown is the author of four novels, Deconstruction Acres, Left of the Loop, Walking Man, and Second Acts, which won the 2010 London Book Festival Award for General Fiction. We talk about their work, building community through art in the NW Bronx, and so much more.
