THE B.E.S.T. MUST LISTEN.

Only podcast I listen to on a weekly basis and get excited about every time I get the notification that a new one has been posted. Milena and Jordan (+ Alethea + Samson + Delilah) are my absolute favorites. hands downs. Nobody else I would rather listen to at 8 am on my morning commutes every week 💗

Potential to be great

This is going to be an in-depth review.
Firstly, I think the idea behind the podcast is wonderful, a young married couple discussing The Word and how it applies to our day to day lives. I have listened to the podcast from the beginning, and before that I watched Milena and Jordan on YouTube starting right around the time they got married. I think Jordan does a wonderful job of not only incorporating scripture but explaining it in a way that everyone can understand, he also comes from a humble place and tries to empathize with people who grew up differently than him. Milena on the other hand, doesn’t seem to have a real grasp of what she is saying, or sometimes what Jordan is saying because she kind of rambles or says “huh? Explain that again” the way she goes about discussions seems very childish and one sided without any biblical context. Jordan on the other hand always has a reference to scripture or excerpt from another author ready to defend or explain his point. I agree with the feedback on the Milena’s past podcast. I couldn’t even get to the end of it because the childish giggling and need to emphasize how they “put their parents through a lot in their teens” while laughing. I wish she took this podcast as seriously as they said they were going to in season 2. There are a lot of things that need to be improved upon. Also, the way milena responded to the negative feedback that she is getting is wrong. She said “I just don’t read the comments because people tear me to shreds” instead of saying “I’ve been reading the feedback here is what I want to improve on, please bare with me because it’s not going to be a sudden 180 but know that I am trying and I hear you.” Overall, if you’re looking for an podcast to reignite your passion for Christ, or inspire you to pursue your relationship with God, you’d have to fast forward through a whole lot of this podcast, there are better options available. If you’re looking for marriage advice, there are better options available. If you’re looking for something to listen to on your commute to work or while you walk your dog this one could work for you. Everyone has their personal preferences.
