As Told By Us

In this episode, Amanda gives her version of the story of how the group met. It is established that they are a group of 90's kid who all met after University and built their friendship as professionals living and working in Zimbabwe.

The group discusses their coming of age into adulthood and the various pressures that arise. They discuss the balancing of societal expectations , their own personal views and goals , and how they choose to respond to 'the pressure'.

The gender perspective arises in the discussion, can women really have it all? A thriving career and family life? Do men have it worse in terms of pressure?

This episode also explores how different cultural norms and how different cultures approach the aspect of marriage and lobola / roora and whether millennials still view and apply it in the same way.

Building on last week's episode, we discuss Zimbabwe's first AI chatbot.
