Asian Girl In A Western World aims to discuss and dismantle the stereotypes perpetrated against our community, bridge the gap between Eastern and Western culture, and show the rest of the world that Asian Americans are more complex than meets the eye. Having had similar experiences to many Asian Americans who struggled with connecting to their heritage while also trying to blend into American culture, our purpose is to help our community know and remember that they are loved that they should be proud to be who they are

Great podcast
I too just laughed it off when I was younger when being teased for being Asian (mine you, this was in the 70’s in Elementary school)! I wanted to do something about it, but my parents would get mad if I spoke up.
Now I’m happy for being Asian, and...like the saying goes “Asians Don’t Raisin”! =^-^=
Asian Girl in a Western World
Love this podcast so much. Being able to learn about the stereotypes and what she has to go through on a daily basis is very eye opening and interesting. Definitely recommend 💪🏼
