Welcome to The Work of Byron Katie® official podcast. Invite your mind to stillness, pay attention as you relate what you hear to your own life, and experience the thrill of waking up to reality—not as some exalted state of mind, but as the elementary, doable, down-to-earth experience of understanding the cause of all suffering and how to end it.

Hello. This is Byron Katie, and I welcome you to the “At Home with Byron Katie” podcast.

Each week you’ll find me here with a different guest. I love the life experience each one brings to the table, and I hope you will too.

Is there a problem in your world? Is there someone in your life, past or present, who resembles my guest or the person my guest is upset with?

We exercise our bodies, but what about our minds? Think of this podcast as mental hygiene. I marvel at each guest’s courage, and I invite you to relax, get comfortable, and open your mind to inquiry. Let’s do The Work.

New to the Work

I am new to The Work and it is a struggle. But with each podcast I listen to, I learn a little more about myself. Byron Katie’s podcast is allowing me to reframe my thoughts and to learn more about me. I am a newbie work in progress. But Byron Katie’s work is helping me let go of the irrational thoughts that keep me down and replace them with thoughts that are true. It may not change my situation, but it is changing the way I view my situation, and will help me deal with my situation. Thanks, Byron Katie!

Thank you for making these available !

Byron you queen. Thank you for helping me stay awake. I’ve been one of your followers for years and it is always relevant for my life. “Reality is always kinder than the stories you tell yourself”. THANK YOU

If you enjoy the experience of surprising yourself, this method is priceless

Although I can’t say I am capable of understanding many of the abstractions and the implications of many of BK’s linguistic twists which invite introspection/meditation, I understand enough to have been transformed by this technique of “problem” exploration. It does attract cognitively flexible people who are ready ( and healthy enough) to give up a defensive mindset. If it fits with your style, then it’s power is extremely strong.
