Remember those classic Atari 2600 games? They were sure fun to play, but didn't you ever wonder why they sent a plumber to take out Donkey Kong? What Yar was seeking revenge against? What made those robots go berserk? Me too? ATARI BYTES is more than a game review podcast. It's an exploration of the games to divine what exactly the story within the game is. And if we can't find those answers, we'll make 'em up.

*Murdoc Scream* ATAAAAARRRRRRIIIIIII!!!!!

Love this show! Bill brings a very funny and relaxed brand of humor to the episodes, as well as a great revisit to each game. Highly recommended!

Hilarious, clean, and tons of soul

-You don't have to know Atari to like the podcast

-For all ages

-Just a pleasant dude telling stories

William brings a ton of heart and humor to the Atari universe with his stories. I am a fan of retro video games, but I'm definitely not an Atari purist. Nonetheless, Ataribytes has become one of my favorite podcasts to listen to.

Atari games somehow captured the imagination of kids with just a few colors, blocky images, and some bleeps and boops. Well the host of this podcast is a true writer who grew up with the Atari. He uses his imagination to make up hilarious stories, and does it without having to use bleeps ;)

Not Your Average Game Review

With the library of the legendary Atari 2600 VCS at his disposal, Bill takes the average game review and adds a new dimension by evaluating the story behind the game. Seems like it would be easy for games like "Popeye" and "Superman", but can Bill do it for games like "Othello" and "Surround"??

Tune in to find out!!

(Spoiler Alert: Yes, he totally can, and it's hilarious! Definitely listen in!!)
