Episode 22 Redux: Sir Gawain and the Green Knight
"Do not meddle in the affairs of podcasters, for they are subtle and quick to anger, especially when they somehow lose an entire episode of audio." - Tolkien, Probably.
HEY so this is a VERY SPECIAL episode, in so much as its a remaster of our first discussion of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, episode 22. I say FIRST because this was supposed to be a discussion of the recent A24 film, but orc got Stef's audio! so we have to rerecord it! Our wonderful editor James stepped into to remaster this old episode for you to keep you entertained until we can get that put together for you, hopefully next week. Enjoy!

Episode 35: Stars Unveiled
In this month's episode we discuss the stars, constellations and other stellar phenomena that light the night sky of middle-Earth. We ask the important questions like did elves make telescopes and how many space puns can Stef make before Jude hangs up the zoom call!
I just found this podcast and I love it! I read LotR and the Hobbit back in hs and fell in love with the world Tolkien created! It’s so exciting to delve further into his lesser known works and more of the histories created for middle earth.
A NEW Kind of Tolkien Podcast with Wonderful Dynamics!
There are plenty of Tolkien podcasts out there, but it's exciting to see one intentionally delving into the wonderful lesser-known writings of the corpus. The dynamic between the hosts is perfect: both are knowledgeable in their own ways, but each certainly contributes something unique to the conversation. I'm always excited to see another episode come out!
An accessible, entertaining look at Tolkien
This show is entertaining in a way that I wasn't sure I'd get out of a podcast about the works of Tolkien. The hosts are a perfect duo of knowledge and humor that bring both a scholarly and a relatable perspective to the material. I don't see myself digging into the obscure corners of Tolkien's writings myself, but I love hearing about all the wonderfully strange and interesting things to be found there. Definitely check it out!
