The Atomic Fallout Society is here! The boys prep for some time off and picked a good time to get set for some big changes. They decide to revamp the format of the show with this being the last show they review the usual comics of the week, but they send off the old format with one last review with a twist. The boys talk about the current series you need to be reading right now. David kicks things off with his love letter to Guardians of the Galaxy, the one Marvel title that Dave says you should give a damn about. Chris gets a little bestial with Animal Man from DC, and Brian rounds things off with the one title you'd expect from the beard of Steel, Batman/Superman. OH LOOORD! It's Atomic Fallout TIME! The boys kick things off with David leading off talking about the much talked about Injustice: Gods Among Us. Tom Taylor and Bruno Redondo continue the 2nd season of the popular DC title based on the video game Injustice Gods Among Us Year Two #2. Is there real reason to fear the Man of Steel? Chris follows up changing names not once, not twice, but three times. The dubbed Nickels brings the much anticipated Winter Solider #1. Just in time for the movie, does this Winter Solider title fill the missing gaps of the characters mythos? Talent rounds things up with the reviews with an Image #1, 'cause that's how pros like him roll. The Fuse #1 by Antony Johnston and Justin Greenwood. Law In Order in Space... does it work? The Talented Beard of Steel educates us and brings a surprising title to the table. In the later part of the show, just in time for Valentines Day, the boys discuss the most dysfunctional relationships in comics. Atomic Fallout Love for all, just get checked afterwards. Episode 115 - Muppets and Racism (You've been warned)

The boys are back, tired and high on sugar. Can they get through the show? It's the Atomic Fallout Society with David Sabal, Brian Smith, and Chris Lilagan! Brian kicks things off with Trillium #6 from Jeff Lemire and Vertigo Comics. It's a series that has caught the eye of the esteemed Professor Smith. How's this tale of time travel faring so far? David follows it up with a look at the All-New Invaders from Marvel Comics. Invaders #2 is brought to the table by James Robinson and Steve Pugh. This is re-introduction to a forgotten team. Can this be a sign of good things from Marvel Comics? David sets the table for Chris, who breaks the record of good comics for the past couple weeks with Swamp Thing. That's right, Swamp Thing from DC. Chris feels the title isn't as strong as it could be. Could the Green be losing some of its luster? The boys try to finish the show by looking at some breaking news of the day on the interwebs, but things turn ugly, and the boys finish the show feeling dirty and ashamed. Want to know why? Episode 114 - So Are We Getting Together...?

The boys are back, and so is the Karaoke! But singing only for our fans out there, time to get to the brass tacks... Chris kicks things off with a look at his character of choice, The Flash. Flash #27 kicks things off with a new creative team, Brian Buccellato and Patrick Zircher. It looks like this is the beginning of the return of a certain other Flash, but what will happen to Barry Allen? Brian continues the positive reviews with Serenity Firefly Class 03-K64 brought to us by Zack Whedon and Georges Jeanty. Dark Horse Comics continues the franchise trend, and Browncoats everywhere will be pleased as peaches with the continuation of the cult series. Dave finishes off with the final chapter of Damen Son of Batman. Andy Kubert's Elseworld title that brings back the son of Bruce Wayne to the masses has been received with lukewarm fanfare. What does the Instigator of AFS have to say 'bout the series? The boys finish things up with a small industry news segment after being surprised by the return of the old Captain, the Voice of Reason Version 1.0, Tony Sabal. So it's talk bout superheroes, ninja turtles and Filipinos. What could go wrong? So are we getting back together, ever, ever, ever, getting back together? To listen, click here. Episode 113 - Educate Us, Mister Smith

Episode 113 - Educate Us, Mister Smith

And now is the winter of our discontent... It's the Atomic Fallout Society. No karaoke this week, but the boys decided we needed to educate the masses. First though, David kicks things off with a Marvel review, BUT it's no ordinary Marvel title. Empire of the Dead #1 by THE George Romero hit the shelves. David contains his biases for his horror mentor and brings a new chapter to the Dead series of Romero. Is this another Walking Dead rip-off or is this another take on the genre by one of it's forefathers? Brian brings in Jack Hammer #1 from Action Lab Comics. Writer Brandon Barrows and artist Ionic bring a title of noir and intrigue. But something smells a little fishy in the waters, and the Talent enlightens us. Chris finishes up the reviews with Baddass #1 from creative team Herik Hannna and Bruno Bessadi. Is this a new fresh title from Dynamite Press, or is this just another comic in the vein of Millar World? The boys finish things up, well, Brian finishes things up with another "Educating the Masses" and dons the Professor robes to teach the public ' bout The Winter Solider story just in time for the 2nd wave of Marvel number one comics as well as the latest Captain America film coming soon. Now sit back, enjoy, pull up an ottoman and rest your feet by the fire place. It's the Atomic Fallout Society, bitches! To listen, click here. To download, right click and "Save As..."
