Funny, witty and satirical
Funny and satirical of today’s medicine. Just listened to it on the way home from a long day at ground and made me laugh.
The king prevented my burnout before it started
This schmuck is a total blowhard. (Or is this blowhard a total schmuck?). He just praddles on and on...
Truthfully, and without my knowing it, dr Doug is probably one of the biggest reasons I can avoid anger and burnout in this broken system. As an avid blog reader since early in med school (back when the placebo gazette first launched), I learned how to make fun of the insanity, rather than be consumed by it, before having to fight it first hand. Now I teach my students and residents the same (call it trickle-down placebo wisdom?)
Been looking forward to the podcasts since you announced ‘em, and clearly they won’t disappoint! I’d highly recommend to anyone in the trenches. Thanks Doug!
